From the Bhagavad Gita : " When like the tortoise, which withdraws on all sides its limbs, the aspirant withdraws his senses from the sense-objects. Then wisdom becomes steady. The tortoise symbolizes looking inward , and controlling very carefully what is put out. "
I really look forward to our Sunday morning classes. There is no sense of fervid dashing through traffic which I encounter on weekdays if I am in town in order to make it to a weekday evening class. As they say in Brasil , muito tranquilo !
And perhaps because there is more natural light in the room , the adjustments of Jorgen C. seem deeper & more expansive ; particularly in an asana like Kurmasana where the drishti is directed inwards to the ajna chakra. Surrender & breathe through it.
Thanks again to Henry G. for this pic.
And please check out Tesa Celdran's posts on her teacher Govinda Kai's visit & retreat in Boracay. Very inspiring.
Abaracos to Sean Gray for the email from Floripa, Brasil. Yes, being there is happiness ! See you soon at Jorgen's classes in a couple of weeks. Parabens -
